1625 Benning Road NE is the former site of an underutilized church purchased by Valor in 2015 which is now being developed into a 160,000 square foot affordable housing project comprised of 148 rental apartments. Valor partnered with Foulger Pratt Companies on the execution of 4% Low Income Housing Tax Credit and District of Columbia Tax-Exempt Bond financing. The property broke ground in late 2021 and is slated to be completed in early 2024.
